FastFictionPodcasts began in early 2018 as a result of a friend’s remark. He had seen the dozen or so anthologies and half dozen files in my study that contain print copies of short stories I have had published or written over the years. “What a waste to just have them sitting there,” he said, “You should do something with them.”
I asked the obvious question, “What?” to which his two-word reply changed my life. “Record them.”
It was an Epiphany. My previous experience in drama and radio could come together with my writing skills in one wonderful project. A Bad Luck Day, my first monologue, came out in April – and to my surprise, a week later I had received 200 listens.
We now have nearly a hundred-and-fifty stories in our library: monologues, skits, and full audio dramas, with productions by international scriptwriters and actors, many of them from the United Kingdom and the United States. And you can pick your Genre.
