The Good Die Young

The Good Die Young is a personal tribute to a good friend, a wonderful person, an incredible artist, and a heroic soldier.  As the world is thrown yet again into the chaos of war, we should pause a moment for those who have sacrificed their lives in other combats. While this story is about one man, he represents so many who suffered before him, after, and will do so in the coming months.   Sometimes we do not see their pain, yet in this case, the mental and physical suffering was captured and conveyed in 23 sketches which – once seen – will never be forgotten.  Please go to https://www.awm.gov.au/collection/C229056

Champagne, Collecting and Collaboration

Champagne, Collecting and Collaboration is an audio drama inspired by real people and real events. Several decades ago the name of Florence Gould was very well known all over the world. Why?  Because she was a millionaire American beauty living on the French Riviera who was a noted art collector and philanthropist. Even today, her good works live on through her Foundation. Despite them, however, her murky past during WWII casts doubt on her reputation and makes her very much of an enigma.

We welcome Hilary Kaiser to FastFiction with this intriguing play – and at the end – see if you can decide if Florence Gould was indeed “A Dangerous Woman”, as some have described her.

Three Very Wise Men

Three Very Wise Men combines two myths – the Nativity and the Childrens’ Benefactor in the North Pole. But who is he? Santa Klaus, Kris Kringle, or Saint Nicolas? Well, it depends where you live. But happily, this little skit ignores all that and puts them together on a quest – to follow The Star. Their gifts are both traditional – and original.

Remit Payment

Remit Payment is undeniably a little piece to add to the Halloween fun. But it does have a message. Not a subtle one it’s true. In fact, the message is rather dark and scary – and sort of potentially affects thousands, if not millions of people around the world. It’s a Cautionary Tale.

While the cast is all familiar with being part of the FastFiction team, we are delighted to introduce Will Anderson as the scriptwriter.  Will hails from America, and while we don’t know too much about him as yet, I’m sure he will be a regular member, with a penchant for horror.

Duration: 8m.33s
