Wheeled Prisons

Wheeled Prisons was produced as a recognition of the First World War, the war to end All wars., But less than 20 years later we had World War 2. Two years ago, we all became affected by a war in the Ukraine…. and now ……? Unbelievably the dispute between Israel and Palestine has arisen again. In the Holy Land!

Wheeled Prisons make no comments on the wars – simply the people who are affected by them.

We usually associate ‘Ol Blue Eyes’ with singing, and even dancing on occasion. In this recording, which was first broadcast on CBS Suspense Radio Drama, January 18th 1945, he plays a pleasant, almost charismatic character – but hey, he’s just a little creepy.
