To Find Help

To Find Help was first broadcast almost 80 years ago, and yet it can stand competition with any radio drama of today. Sure, it has a stellar cast – albeit an unusual one. We usually associate ‘Ol Blue Eyes’ with singing, and even dancing on occasion. In this recording, which was first broadcast on CBS Suspense Radio Drama, January 18th 1945, he plays a pleasant, almost charismatic character – but hey, he’s just a little creepy.

The Blackout

The Blackout. Sylvia is alone and pregnant in the Manhattan high-rise she shares with her husband, Noah. She is waiting for her husband and a dinner guest, Mr. Swanson. In spite of the blackout, Swanson arrives and engages Sylvia in a disturbing conversation. But when Noah gets home, Swanson vanishes. As the night continues, sights and sounds become even stranger and more ominous. Are they Sylvia’s hallucinations, or is the danger real?
