Champagne, Collecting and Collaboration is an audio drama inspired by real people and real events. Several decades ago the name of Florence Gould was very well known all over the world. Why? Because she was a millionaire American beauty living on the French Riviera who was a noted art collector and philanthropist. Even today, her good works live on through her Foundation. Despite them, however, her murky past during WWII casts doubt on her reputation and makes her very much of an enigma.
We welcome Hilary Kaiser to FastFiction with this intriguing play – and at the end – see if you can decide if Florence Gould was indeed “A Dangerous Woman”, as some have described her.
